The XV Excalibur is a Royal Navy extra-large uncrewed underwater vehicle developed by MSubs under the CETUS programme. It achieved a milestone in 2026 by firing a US Mk 48 heavyweight torpedo, the first time an uncrewed submarine successfully launched such a weapon, during AUKUS trials.
