Twinvis Sheltered

Hensoldt · Germany

The European reference for prime-grade passive radar. Exploits VHF/UHF signals from analogue/digital radio and TV. Provides omnidirectional 3D tracking of 180+ objects to 250 km when integrated with IRIS-T launchers. Twinvis Sheltered (Aug 2023) is the deployable shelter variant — set up by two people. Several systems under contract inside and outside NATO; Hensoldt expects 100+ orders. FAA tested in Miami 2023 vs ASR-8/9/11 active radars. New production line in Ulm.
