A different flavour of passive: not PCL but Passive ESM Tracker (PET). Multiple receiver stations triangulate emitters (aircraft radars, IFF, comms) via TDOA. Tracks hundreds of targets simultaneously. Strong combat-survivability case: active radars in conflict have ~20–30 minute survival rates against anti-radiation munitions, while passive systems can't be located by emission. ERA also developing SICORRA as the next-gen multi-position system. Deployed across multiple NATO and partner nations.
